This one's for Alex.....

I have been meaning to log on and update, but unfortunately have just been too busy!  Today is August 3rd, which means we have 2 days until our wedding!  I can`t believe it is already almost here.  I am not feeling nervous (like my fiance), but feel very relaxed and excited.  I am probably relaxed due to the fact that Alex's mom has done most of the planning - which I am extremely grateful for, by the way!  I am mostly relaxed because I know this is exactly where I am supposed to be.  You see, this isn't my first rodeo...I have done this before!  The difference is that this time I know that I am marrying my soul mate.  It has been quite the journey to make it to this point in my life, but I am thankful that we have gotten here.  One of the songs that I picked to play during our wedding video montage is "Blessed the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts.  I always felt that this song summed up our relationship perfectly.  I feel that God has truly blessed the broken road that led me straight to Alex.  Bryden, Aeson and I love him so much and we can't wait to officially become a family.  Two more days!!
