Time flies!

Well we made it through the first week of school!  I can't believe how quickly it went by.  It seems so strange how fast the time goes when you have kids.  I remember when I was younger the days seemed longer and the years went by slower.  These days it seems as if each day is over with the blink of an eye! I'm afraid if I blink (because the moment that I do) my babies will be graduating high school and embarking on a life of their own.  After the first week of school, Bryden already seems so much older!  It sounds crazy, I know.  Every day after school last week he was begging me to let him bring lunch money to school to buy lunch in the cafeteria.  For whatever reason it makes me a little sad and hesitant.  He told me that "everyone was buying their lunch."  Seriously?!?!  He is already starting the "everybody's doing it"?  Whew..I have a long road ahead of me.  He seems to be loving life right now though.  He says his favorite subject is recess because "he loves to play outside."  I think Aeson is a little jealous.  As far as Aeson is concerned, kindergarten is all about coloring, food, and playing outside.  He doesn't understand why he has to miss out on all these great times!  No need for him to rush though!  Luckily my baby has an October birthday so I am completely grateful that I have three more years to spend with him before he reaches the kindergarten milestone.  Of course in 3 years I will be sitting here again saying "where does the time go?!"  Until that time comes, I hope I can soak it all in and enjoy the little moments together.  To change the subject, I am super excited because Alex got a new camera and I am starting to become border line obsessed!  We took the kids out after breakfast this morning and went around town to take some awesome pics.  I will never need to pay for professional pics again!  We better clear up some wall space is all I know!
